  1. 2016 Winter Reading Program: Reading is Cool!

    December 6, 2016 - January 7, 2017 @ Hutto Public Library

    The library will be having their 2nd Annual Winter Reading Program. This program is supported by Half Price Books Store in Round Rock and Austin Sports Arena in Round Rock. The Winter Reading Program will begin at the Hutto Public Library on December 6, 2016 and end on January 27, 2017 (8 week program). Youth and adults will be given a reading log to record the amount of time they read. At the end of the reading program there will be a grand prize drawing for participants who meet a required amount of time spent reading. A $10 Grand Prize Gift Card to Half Price Books will be drawn at the end of the program for the following age groups: Infant to Pre-K, Elementary, Middle/High School, and Adult. Coupons would be given to patrons who sign up for the reading program.

They have an independent board of directors, with a member of the library staff serving as an ex officio member.
