Tweens & Teens Clubs
FRIENDS, FOOD, FUN! The Hutto youth have a great time each month at the Library after hours. The Library listens and helps make the Teen ideas of future Library programs and services come true. Visit the Library to ask about the Tweens and Teen Club (open to middle and high school aged students). While there, pick up a volunteer form and ask how YOU can make a difference in your community AND build up your volunteer hours for future college and work applications!

Teen Volunteers

Volunteering in the library is  a great way to give back to your community as well as enriching and expanding library services.  Volunteer hours within the library are a great way to help your teen acquire hours for college applications, honor society, and any other club/organization requiring volunteer hours. Volunteers may be used for special events, projects, and activities or on a regular basis to assist staff.   Volunteers must be at least 13 years of age and must complete a volunteer form.  Teen volunteer forms require a parent/guardian signature.  Parent/guardian must be present when the form is signed.  Volunteers who work with public may be subject to background check,  providing references,  going through a interview, and attend an orientation.   For additional information please contact library staff.
