Parks and Recreation News
Due to the ongoing health concerns from COVID-19, all programs and events have been postponed or canceled until further notice. 

All park pavilions, courts, drinking fountains, and bathrooms are CLOSED until further notice. Trails, open spaces, and fishing at Hutto Lake Park are still open. 


SELF DEFENSE CLASSES - Registration is available here
Learn to protect yourself with a FREE self-defense class! Led by the Williamson County Sheriff's Office Self Defense Academy, the classes will focus on personal safety awareness and self-defense techniques. Classes are offered for Seniors, Kids, Teens, and Adults starting in January! Pre-registration is required. The location of classes will be at the Hutto Parks and Recreation Building (306 East Live Oak Street).

KINDERDANCE - Registration is available here
Kindertots N Tumble, Kinderdance, and Kindermotion will be offered for children ages 2 to 5. These dance programs are designed to develop the total child through movement, motor development, and body awareness. The dance programs also incorporate educational pieces such as learning about colors, numbers, shapes, and songs! Classes will be offered every Tuesday for 5 weeks. MLB PITCH HIT & RUN COMPETITION 
Join us for this FREE skills competition open to baseball and softball players ages 7 to 14. On April 11th at 9 a.m., bring your best game as the cities' skilled youth will compete at Holmstrom Field! Finish as a top competitor and you have the change to advance to the Finals during MLB All-Star Weekend! Registration must be completed here!

HUTTO TENNIS ACADEMY 
New to the community is the Hutto Tennis Academy! Taught by instructor Garrett Pekar, this academy offers private lessons and group lessons for all ages. Coach Pekar has years of experience instructing tennis and is offering a high-quality program to help improve skills. Click here for class offerings!
