Volunteer PROGRAM

Hutto Parks and Recreation is committed to providing quality programs that fulfill the needs and benefits of the community members. As we grow so do the programs. We are always looking for dedicated individuals who enjoy giving back! Below are the ways you can get involved with Parks and Recreation and Downtown and Tourism. 

If you are looking for a short term a short-term or one-time opportunity, the following events below are held annually:

Volunteer Application Process:
  1. Complete the volunteer application and submit to pard@huttotx.gov or 500 West Live Oak Street.
  2. Upon receipt of your volunteer application, it will be reviewed and you may be contacted to discuss available opportunities and your interest. 
  3. The selection and screening process will begin, including a background check.
  4. The final volunteer placement is dependent upon passing the background check. If approved, you will be contacted with program/event information and training.
