It's Back to School Time! Don't forget that the Library will continue its story time for pre-schoolers every Thursday at 10:30 am. Join us for an hour of stories, songs, finger plays and crafts presented by Ms. Lisa! We will also be offering a Basic Computer Skills Class as well. This class will be offered on Wednesday September 11, 18 & 25th. Come sign up for one of these times today!
Our staff is excited about Youth Basketball starting up again in November. Registration begins September 4th at the Parks & Recreation office. Please contact Lacey Dingman for more information, 512-759-4000.
It may be hot but keeping up with the green side of things is left up to our dedicated park maintenance crew. These four guys help keep Hutto’s 180+ acres of city park land ready for your next visit.
Have a wedding, family reunion or birthday party to plan? Do not forget that we also provide three different pavilions and an additional property, the Saul House, which is available to reserve for your next family or company gathering.
So, what do you do in your leisure time? Please take a few moments and visit our web pages, find an activity in which you would like to participate and get active. Whether it’s attending a special event, visiting the library for story time or taking a walk on our nearly five miles of trail, I am confident that we offer something that will get you active.
No excuses, there is no better time in Hutto to “Get Busy, Stay Active and Live Healthy!”
Yours in Service,
Mike Hemker, CPSM
Hutto Parks & Recreation Department Director
