After School Program

Are you looking for a enjoyable place where your child can go after school? The City of Hutto Parks & Recreation Department offers an after school program for children in grades K–5. This program runs through the regular school year and operates Monday through Friday from 2:45 to 6:30 p.m. at the Old Middle School. Children will be bused from Nadine Johnson Elementary, Cottonwood Creek Elementary, Ray Elementary, Veterans Hill and walked over from Hutto Elementary. Registration will take place at Hutto Parks and Recreation Department located at 306 East Live Oak St, by Fritz Park during the hours of 8:00 to 5:00 pm. Adaptive participants must function and behave within a 1:15 ratio.
The Hutto After School Program will provide daily activities including homework/reading time, small and large group activities, sports, arts and crafts, science and nature, and special events. These activities will promote good health, cognitive development, social skills, and overall enjoyment and fun!
Registration Information

All registrations will occur at the Hutto Park and Recreation Department, Monday-Friday, from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. The registration process will continue until all spots are filled. When registering, please note that all forms must be completely filled out. The following information will need to be provided: Parents/Guardians address, phone numbers, driver’s license, emergency contact information, and name and phone number of child's physician, other parties allowed to pick up the child including name and phone number, and any other additional information including medications, allergies, and interests.
*At the time of registration, you will be required to pay for the first month.
