Corrected Election Information

The most recent edition of Hutto Today, as mailed to Hutto citizens with their water bill, contained some incorrect information on the November 2, 2010, general election, under the heading “VOTING SCHEDULE IN CITY OF HUTTO FOR THE NOVEMBER 2, 2010, GENERAL ELECTION.” The information incorrectly listed the precincts in Hutto as 420, 424, and 426. Hutto’s actual precinct numbers are 402, 403, 420, and 426 (426 contains no registered voters). During early voting, voters may vote outside of their designated precinct polling place. However, on Election Day, voters must vote at their designated precinct polling place, based on the following:

• Precinct 402: Hutto City Hall, 401 W. Front Street, Hutto, Texas 78634
• Precinct 403: Hutto Elementary School, 100 Mager Lane, Hutto, Texas 78634
• Precinct 420: Hutto Middle School, 1005 Exchange Blvd, Hutto, Texas 78634
• Precinct 426: There are no registered voters

For the December 11, 2010 Special Election to fill the vacancy of City of Hutto City Council Place 6, there will only be one polling location for all precincts – Hutto City Hall, 401 W. Front, Hutto, Texas 78634. This includes Early Voting and the actual Election Day.
