The tree-lined streets and small businesses along East Street, Farley Street, and all across Hutto’s Historic Downtown district are part of a uniquely American institution – Main Street, USA. Like Main Streets from New York to California, the buildings have hosted families and small businesses, through both good times and bad.

To help support the Historic District and Downtown, the City of Hutto is applying for inclusion in the Texas Main Street program. As a part of Main Street America, this program aims to “create long-term economic transformation through small, incremental improvements.”
The Texas Main Street program gives the City of Hutto, and Downtown Hutto in specific, access to tools, grants, and a wide knowledge base to help support and grow locally-owned businesses, develop entrepreneurs from the community and create inclusive, accessible communities for everyone.
The City of Hutto is requesting input from residents and friends to include in the application. You do not have to live within the program area to support this application. Letters of support can be emailed to Downtown Manager Kristi Robich.
