Join Mayor Doug Gaul for a recap of the June 20 City Council meeting.

Hello everyone, I’m Mayor Gaul and here is the City Council wrap up from the June 20 meeting.
Welcome Tanner Rose to the city council. We look forward to working with you throughout your term.
Council heard updates on the Sports & Health District and Perfect Game Mix Use development. Take a look at these new renderings! Plans are on track for an opening date of Memorial Day 2021. As the project progresses the council and community will continue to receive updates.
Approval was given to eight construction projects around Hutto, Including the new 9th grade center and future second High School Campus (8D), A fourth and final building at Innovation Business Park (8E), as well as residential and commercial plots of land.
City Council approved plans for a Public Improvement District at Mustang Creek. A portion of City taxes from the development will be put directly back into the project to help quickly create required infrastructure in the neighborhood.
