The Hutto Public Library will be closed through the end of March to help mitigate the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19) to protect the health and welfare of the citizens of Hutto.
City of Hutto Mayor Doug Gaul issued a Declaration of Disaster for the City of Hutto. (See declaration here.) Williamson County issued the same declaration mandating that there be no public events or gatherings with more than 50 people in attendance so Library events were cancelled last week. Because the daily attendance level often surpassed the restrictions of the declaration, the decision was made to close the Library for two weeks.
Materials that have been checked out may be returned in the book drop outside of City Hall or may be returned after March 31 without penalty.
If you have any questions, please call the Library’s main number at 512-759-4008.
Please continue to do your part in staying aware of the recommendations from the CDC here.
