The City of Hutto, the Hutto Economic Development Corporation, and representatives of Valero have agreed to evaluate alternate locations for a proposed refined product pipeline and terminal project in Williamson County. The project includes a 5-bay truck rack and refined products (gasoline and diesel) storage tanks that will bring a new and reliable fuel supply alternative to Central Texas in a cost efficient manner with benefits to consumers.

“The City of Hutto is opposed to the previously proposed location and voiced its opposition to the project location,” said Odis Jones, City Manager. “We are pleased that Valero representatives were open to partnering in evaluating alternatives that are in keeping with the comprehensive plan for our growth corridors,” said Jones.
