Financial Services

The Financial Services Department plans and directs the City's financial activities and provides information to support decisions. The department analyzes financial and operational data, such as performance measures, and makes recommendations on City operations and procedures to ensure fiscal accountability and effective use of City Resources.

The City of Hutto Financial Services Department was awarded the Silver Level Award for Fiscal Transparency by the State of Texas Comptroller. This award exemplifies that Hutto is making great strides to becoming more financially transparent and encouraging the community to participate in the government process.

Fiscal Year 2022 to 2023 Adopted Budget

On Thursday, September 15, 2022, the City Council approved and adopted the Fiscal Year 2022-2023 budget.

Adopted Tax Rate

On Thursday, September 15, 2022, the City Council adopted a tax rate of $0.4218, of which $0.273880 is for maintenance and operations and $0.148100 is for debt service.
