Financial Services

The Financial Services Department plans and directs the City's financial activities and provides information to support decisions. The department analyzes financial and operational data, such as performance measures, and makes recommendations on City operations and procedures to ensure fiscal accountability and effective use of City Resources.

The City of Hutto Financial Services Department was awarded the Silver Level Award for Fiscal Transparency by the State of Texas Comptroller. This award exemplifies that Hutto is making great strides to becoming more financially transparent and encouraging the community to participate in the government process.

Fiscal Year 2021 to 2022 Adopted Budget

On Thursday, September 16, 2021, the City Council approved and adopted the Fiscal Year 2021-2022 budget.

Proposed Tax Rate

On Thursday, September 16, 2021, the City Council adopted a tax rate of $0.536448, of which $0.380343 is for maintenance and operations and $0.156105 is for debt service.
