Friends of the Hutto Public Library

Our MissionLibrary Group Photo

The Friends of the Hutto Public Library (FOTHPL) will sponsor programs and raise funds to support new library services and technologies, while working to maintain and enhance Hutto's quality library.

What We Do

The Friends of the Hutto Public Library provide funding and manpower to enhance Hutto Public Library services to library users. We build library support among community members by attending and promoting library events; we raise funds through book sales.

Who We Are

We are an independent non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation that supports the city-funded library but is not part of the government. We have an independent board of directors, with a member of the library staff serving as an ex officio member.

The Friends of the Hutto Public Library began in December 2003 and recently underwent revitalization in October 2014.

Meetings

The Friends meet on the first Tuesday each month from 7 to 8 pm unless otherwise stated on the Calendar of Events.
