The purpose of this Parks, Recreation, Open Space, and Trails Master Plan is to guide the planning and development of the City's park system. It is recommended that a new Parks Master Plan be initiated to keep it current and within the guidelines of the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD) to allow for the maximum possibility of grant funding for assistance in the development of the City's parks and trails.
Purpose
One of the primary purposes of this master plan is to guide the growth and development of Hutto's park and recreation system in light of the City's recent rapid growth. A series of goals and objectives were established to ensure that guided and focused development occurs that addresses the needs and desires of the citizens of Hutto.
