City Manager's Office

Warren Hutmacher was appointed City Manager by the Hutto City Council in September 2020 to oversee all City operations and services. Mr. Hutmacher has 25 years of state and local government experience in Georgia and Texas.  Before relocating to Texas, Mr. Hutmacher spent much of his government tenor in Georgia, previously serving as the city manager of Johns Creek, Dunwoody, and Avondale Estates. Previously, he worked in the private sector as a principal for an architecture, engineering and planning firm. 

Mr. Hutmacher holds a Master’s degree in public administration from The Ohio State University and a Bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Delaware.  He also served as an instructor in American Government and Public Administration courses at Georgia Perimeter College.
