10 am Wednesday update: There has not been any improvements to the outage yet. Please continue to take note of the information in the original post below.
Original post: Hutto City Hall, Public Library and Police Department are experiencing an Internet outage likely due to a damaged line. The soonest the issue would be resolved is mid-afternoon today. The impacts on public service include:
- Non-emergency calls to the Hutto Police Department's non-emergency phone lines and office phones do not consistently work. If you have a non-emergency issue for police, please contact Williamson County Dispatch directly at 512-846-8304. NOTE: 9-1-1 is working! Please call 9-1-1 for emergencies.
- Utility Billing and Municipal Court can only accept cash or check payments during the outage. Credit card payments can be made online.
- Printers/scanners are down at the Library, but the copier is still available and books/materials can still be manually checked out.
Updates will be shared as they become available, ideally on this page as well as the City's Facebook page.
