Hutto Public Library now offering free LinkedIn Learning services

Hey Hutto

Over 16,000 online courses taught by real-world professionals are now available for free for all Hutto Public Library cardholders. The City of Hutto is excited to add LinkedIn Learning to the arsenal of tools available for all Library patrons. This free service enhances the Library’s commitment to using innovative ways to provide information and learning access to the growing Hutto community.

LinkedIn Learning provides relevant, professional online courses spanning from the latest technologies to basic computer literacy, and everything in between. Courses cover leadership, project management, mental wellness, sales, job hunting, cloud computing, data science, digital marketing, photography, videography, and so much more. Plus, courses are offered in seven different languages, including English, Spanish, German, French, Japanese, Mandarin and Portuguese.

Hutto Public Library cardholders can use the service free of charge simply by logging into LinkedIn Learning at www.linkedin.com/learning-login/go/huttopubliclibrary and entering their Library card number. Computer access is also available in person at the Hutto Public Library, however reservations are required.

Anyone living or owning property within Hutto city limits or within the Hutto ISD boundary may obtain a Library card for free. Those outside the boundaries may also sign up for a Library card for a $10 annual fee. To sign up for a Library card, visit the Hutto Public Library.

The Hutto Public Library is located on the west side of the first floor of Hutto City Hall at 500 W. Live Oak Street. The Library is open Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 10 am to 5 pm, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11 am to 7 pm, and Saturdays from 10 am to 2 pm. In order to sign up for a new Library card, applicants must bring:

  • Library card application form, available in English and Spanish here (print copies are also available at the Library)
  • Photo ID, such as a driver’s license, state ID or military ID
  • Proof of current residence, if your ID does not list your current address, such as a water or utility bill, personal check, or lease agreement
