Hutto Welcomes Assistant City Manager

ACM Matt

Matt Wojnowski has over 20 years of experience in local government, primarily in the City Manager’s Office. Hutto welcomed Matt as Assistant City Manager in August 2021. Prior to coming to Hutto, he served as the City Manager for Del Rio, Texas from February 2019 to July 2021, and the Assistant City Manager for Altus, Oklahoma from August 2015 through February 2019. He also served as the Assistant to the City Manager in Killeen, Texas; Joplin, Missouri; and Temple, Texas.

Matt received the International City/County Management Association (ICMA)’s Credentialed Manager Candidate designation in October 2020. He will become an ICMA Credentialed Manager on August 1, 2022.

Matt graduated with a Master's Degree in Public Administration from the University of Kansas. He is active in the Texas City Management Association (TCMA) and the International City Management Association (ICMA). Matt and his wife Rebecca have five children.
