Community leaders and members are invited to kick off construction of the second phase of Innovation Business Park in Hutto, TX, with a groundbreaking event for Kval Inc., a leading manufacturer of advanced door machinery.

The groundbreaking ceremony will be at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 26, at the future Kval site: 1591 Innovation Blvd. Guests should enter the site via the temporary access road on the east side of Innovation Blvd. that is directly across from the southern entrance to EWCHEC (East Williamson County Higher Education Center).

The new 52,500-square-foot, build-to-suit facility will dramatically improve Kval’s ability to service its surging business in Texas and beyond. It represents Kval’s first expansion beyond California since the company was founded in 1947. The family-owned-and operated company looks forward to strengthening its commitment to providing the best quality in high-tech machinery for the residential, commercial, and architectural door markets.

Kval is the newest addition in a 100-acre expansion of Innovation Business Park, which has been under development by Titan Development with strategic support from the City of Hutto since 2016. Kval will bring 80+ high-quality jobs to this thriving employment hub.

Joe Iannacone, Vice President of Development at Titan, said, “We are delighted to welcome Kval as the first tenant at our newly launched Titan Innovation Business Park Phase 2 to help them expand their business. Their choice of Hutto and our industrial property is more confirmation of the strong demand for well-located, light-industrial space in the Austin MSA.”
