Leadership Update

ACM Matt

During their regular meeting on Thursday, Nov. 18, 2021, the Hutto City Council has appointed Matt Wojnowski, the Assistant City Manager, to serve as Acting City Manager for the next few weeks. Wojnowski will serve in this role while the City Council finalizes an appointment of an Interim City Manager.

The Interim City Manager role is anticipated to be a much longer appointment, as the national search for a new City Manager could take up to six months. As the City continues through the important process of a leadership transition, the Council and staff will continue to stay focused on City goals including infrastructure improvements, fiscal responsibility, economic development, and quality of life.
