Spending time with family is important, and the new Hutto park property will give resident
s another place to enjoy with each amph

The new amphitheater will host KOKEFest, as well as other large concerts and festivals, and open green space will give residents the chance to experience the beauty of Central Texas. With access to Brushy Creek, mature trees, and a pavilion, this park can also tie into the Williamson County Regional Park System.

Hutto Park at Brushy Creek, a temporary name until City Council officially names the park, is part of the Magnificent 7, a group of projects prioritized by the City Council to strengthen Hutto’s economic development and quality of life.

  • The new amphitheater includes a shaded VIP area, as well as extended lawn-style seating that can accommodate a capacity of 10,000.
  • The amphitheater will be located at the northeast corner of the 65-acre park property, allowing for other park-goers to enjoy activities throughout the park.
  • The City of Hutto is partners with KOKE FM to host the annual KOKEFEST, a Red Dirt Texas music festival drawing fans from all across the state.
  • The amphitheater will also be available for booking by outside groups – details on how to book events at the amphitheater will be forthcoming.
  • Local Georgetown construction company, FTWoods began construction in April 2018 and should complete the project in May 2019, pending weather delays.
  • The amphitheater is expected to cost no more than $3.4 million, and is financed through certificate of obligation bonds, issued for purpose of “constructing, improving, renovating, and equipping City park land,” issued at the Sept. 7, 2017 City Council meeting.
  • The City of Hutto announced on March 21 that it has entered into a management agreement with Ryan Sanders Sports & Entertainment to provide live programming in the Amphitheater at Hutto Park at Brushy Creek.
