As the city continues to grow, it aims to be a family-friendly community that provides superior public safety, outstanding fiscal responsibility, a diversified economy, and an exceptional quality of life. Here, the importance of a diverse community is recognized as it will directly affect the quality of life of the community and its residents.

That being said, the City Council’s goal is to take a comprehensive approach towards economic development by focusing their efforts on the preparation of an Economic Development Policy that will become a roadmap for gaining a current and accurate understanding of where the community now stands in terms of its business climate, where it wants to go, and how it gets there.
