The City Council is committed to making solid, data-driven decisions for Hutto residents. In 2015, Hutto was ranked the 4th safest city in Texas by the firm Value Penguin. Most recently, SafeWise ranked Hutto the 5th safest city in Texas. So, what can we do to ensure that Hutto will remain safe, with top-tier services, while we continually grow and change? The honest answer: we need more information before making any decisions. To help community leaders make educated and informed choices when it comes to public safety, the “Ensuring Hutto’s Safety” series was held. Here are re-caps and links for the series work sessions.
