Construction has begun on the BryComm, LLC headquarters in Hutto at Innovation Business Park. In January 2018, BryComm and Titan Development announced the decision to become the latest in a series of important real estate development relocations in Hutto representing the ongoing commitment by city leaders and business entities to foster the growth of the city.

“We have simply grown out of our current location having tripled in size,” said Cory Brymer, BryComm founder and CEO. “We looked at Round Rock, Pflugerville, Austin, Cedar Park, and the main reason we chose Hutto is the availability of the type of facility we needed.”

BryComm offers design, installation and maintenance of data and fiber optics for inside and outside plant infrastructures, security technologies and audio/visual systems. The company is building a 30,000 square foot building to serve as their headquarters and warehouse space and have plans to invest more than $4 million on the facility, grow to 200 jobs within five years, as well as bring more than $1 million in net revenue to the City. In exchange, the City will provide 45 percent of ad valorem taxes levied by the City on the property and improvements for a period of ten years.

The company acquired 6.53 acres at Titan’s Innovation Business Park and broke ground in June 2019 and is set to open operations by December 2019.

The next challenge is finding the high-skilled technicians to grow their workforce. A task that remained in the back of Brymer’s mind as he eyed the future home at Innovation Business Park with Texas State Technical College (TSTC) within walking distance. More than 70 percent of his workforce requires the high-skills of technicians with specialized training.

BryComm's investment in excess of $4 million on the new facility includes the land purchase, planning, relocation expenses, equipment and construction.  The company plans to employ 110 people at the start and will grow to 200 within five years. The company has grown from its original 5 employees to more than 100 today and was twice recognized in Austin Business Journal’s Fast 50 (#10 in 2015, and #2 in 2016) as well as ranked 980 in the 2016 Inc. 5000 list. This growth has meant they have outpaced the capacity of their current 10,000 SF building in Austin and began shopping for a new home for its headquarters and warehouse.

BryComm is currently headquartered in Austin with offices also in San Antonio. This move will affect its Austin headquarters and warehouse, while its San Antonio office will remain unchanged.

Innovation Business Park, a 72-acre business park, which will be home to approximately 800,000 sq. ft. of space at complete build out, broke ground in November 2017 and began the first phase of construction with 150,000 sq. ft. of business spec space for one to four tenants. In August, Paradigm Metal, Inc. announced its relocation from Austin to Innovation Business Park, building a 100,000 SF headquarters at Innovation Business Park along with 250 employees, growing to 400 employees win ten years.

“Hutto has a small-town feel with big-town opportunities and is quickly building its economic capacity with a strong business, retail and residential base within the greater Austin marketplace,” said Odis Jones, City Manager. “We welcome BryComm, Paradigm, AEND, JRS, the Co-Op District, and many more businesses that are choosing to invest in our community,” added Jones.
