City of Hutto continues limiting public gatherings, cancellation of all events, including Tailgates & Tunes concert series
HUTTO, Texas (June 30, 2020) – Due to the climbing number of COVID-19 cases in the City of Hutto and across Williamson County, the City of Hutto has canceled all unnecessary public gatherings not related to the governance of the City. Sadly, this includes the much-anticipated Tailgates & Tunes concert series, and any events at the Brushy Creek Amphitheater.
“We are currently working with our partners at RS3 and the City of Hutto to reschedule our shows for later this summer or early fall, including a much-deserved fireworks celebration to kick it off,” said Jennifer Stevens, CEO of JHL and organizer of the Tailgates & Tunes music series.
The City is committed to helping keep its residents and visitors safe and healthy, and the events will be rescheduled at a time when it is safe and responsible to organize larger public gatherings. We appreciate our partners’ continued understanding, flexibility and support as well as their ongoing commitment to both bringing great music to Hutto, and to keeping everyone as healthy as possible.
“We believe in the power of connection, the importance of coming together as a community,” said Stevens, “and are committed to creating opportunities for live music to be enjoyed in a safe environment.”
Please follow Tailgates & Tunes on Facebook and Instagram for updates. The community recipient of Tailgates & Tunes, the Central Texas Food Bank, still needs support during this time. To learn how you can support their mission, please visit centraltexasfoodbank.org
